Florim Ceramiche S.p.A. occupies a leading position in the ceramic industry worldwide in terms of sales and market penetration, thanks to its continuing drive for research, advanced technology, planning ability and the active involvement of its human resources.
Florim is an international group with production units, business companies and partnerships in Europe, America and Asia.
Florim owns three establishments in Italy (two at Fiorano Modenese and one at Mordano, province of Bologna) and one in the United States (Clarksville, Tennessee).
In 2005 the establishments, which up to then were divided by brand, were reorganized by production technology and made capable of manufacturing products for all the company’s brands, according to specific project requirements.
This has achieved two objectives:
- a high degree of specialization in technology, production and competences, which improves quality while reducing costs over time;
- the possibility of applying all available technologies to every production line, providing the market with a wider range of products.
